Before your appointment

  • Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing.
  • Avoid creams or oils on the chest on the day of the test.
  • Continue your usual medication unless your doctor advises otherwise.
  • Some light skin preparation may be needed for the electrodes to adhere properly.
  • Shower before your appointment (hand-washing is possible afterward).

During the test

  • Setup takes about 15 to 20 minutes.
  • You leave with the device and go about your usual activities.
  • Depending on what's prescribed, the recording can last 24 h, 48 h, 72 h, or up to 14 days.

Getting your results

  • The data is analyzed by qualified professionals.
  • Results are sent to the referring physician.
  • Turnaround varies with clinical urgency; symptoms can be logged on the device to help with interpretation.
